About

How was Dahindo born?

Dahindo was created as a result of a life-changing trip to Indonesia by Cécile and Gilles. Upon arrival, they were struck by the overwhelming poverty and suffering that surrounded them, particularly in the areas of food and education. They were moved by the daily sights of people struggling to access basic needs and children without access to education. Determined to make a difference, Cécile and Gilles began discussing their plans for a non-profit organization that would focus on addressing these critical issues. The result of these conversations was the creation of Dahindo, an organization dedicated to providing direct and effective aid to those in need in Indonesia. Their goal is to make a tangible impact on the lives of those struggling with food and education, by providing a platform for meaningful and targeted giving.

Our mission

At the heart of our mission with Dahindo lies a steadfast commitment to making a positive and lasting impact in the lives of those in need. Our focus is to address the pressing issues of food insecurity and missing education in Indonesia, and to work tirelessly to find sustainable solutions to these challenges. We believe that every person deserves access to adequate food and quality education, and we are dedicated to empowering communities and helping those in need through our efforts. By putting solidarity at the center of everything we do, we aim to build bridges of understanding, compassion, and hope between people, and to create a better world for all. With a collaborative and inclusive approach, we believe that together, we can make a real difference.
